Privacy

What we collect, which is almost nothing, and what never leaves your phone.

The short version

  • Reading anything here needs no account, no phone number and no permission. We do not ask who you are.
  • The website carries no advertising, no analytics and no third-party trackers.
  • We never sell or share your information, and we never tell anyone what you looked up.

What stays on your device

  • Guides, laws, rights and checklists are saved in your browser or app so they open without a connection. That copy sits on your device and is never sent back to us.
  • Search runs entirely on your device. What you type into the search box never leaves your phone.
  • Anything you draft in the app — a complaint, a notice — is stored on your device only. Clearing the app's data deletes it, and we cannot recover it.

When you ask a question

  • If you use the assistant, the text of your question is sent to our server, which passes it to an AI provider to write the answer. We do not attach your name or phone number, because we do not have them.
  • We count how many questions a device has asked, so the free daily limit can be applied. That count is a number, not a record of what you asked.
  • Do not type your Aadhaar number, bank details, passwords or OTPs into the assistant. No part of this service ever needs them.

Calls you make

  • Helpline numbers open your phone's dialler. The call is between you and that helpline — it does not go through us, and we have no record that you made it.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it erased.
  • In practice we hold almost nothing: with no account, there is usually nothing tied to you to show, correct or delete.
  • You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

Children

  • This service is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.
