Extortion

Threatening someone to force them to give you money or property is extortion.

• A threatens to publish defamatory content about B unless B pays Rs. 50,000. A commits extortion.

Whoever intentionally puts any person in fear of any injury and thereby dishonestly induces the person to deliver any property or valuable security, commits extortion.
