Evidence for Identity Theft
- Proof of your identityCriticalYour Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, or other ID proof to establish your real identity
- Evidence of fraudulent use of identityCriticalScreenshots or documents showing your identity being misused — fake accounts, unauthorized transactions, forged documents

Be careful
- Lock your Aadhaar biometrics immediately at uidai.gov.in.
- Change all passwords for email, banking, and social media accounts.
- Report to CERT-IN (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) along with police.
